Picasso Forensic Studies

Picasso Forensic Studies

The most common forensic study is a signature examination to determine if an artwork was signed by Picasso himself.

Other forensic studies include researching when some materials were first manufactured to determine if they were available when the artwork is supposed to have been created.

Forensic studies include checking stickers, labels, stamps, found on the back of paintings and ceramics to determine if they are authentic.

For prints and drawings checking the paper watermarks is another type of forensic study.

We perform an extensive number of forensic studies to confirm that everything fits and that authenticity can be confirmed and the certificate of authenticity (COA) can be issued.
